The first solid-to-liquid hair care.

Pure plants and minerals, real results.

A Seattle hairstylist turned organic plants and minerals into shampoo, conditioner and styler that work like the ones you already use.

Nothing petrochemical, ready when you stir them into hot water.

Mix a jar. Refill as you go.

  1. Spoon 2 teaspoons of granules into the jar, or 1 teaspoon of styler.

  2. Add 2 oz of hot water, or hot tea.

  3. Stir until the granules have fully dissolved.

  4. Use within a month. Store unmixed granules cool and dry.

Make it yours: stir in a few drops of your favorite oil.

Sarah Balzotti McCoy is the inventor of the first solid-to-liquid hair care. A stylist and salon owner in Seattle, she started salonsolids in 2012 and spent a decade developing the patented, water-soluble formula: plant-based, organic granules that become shampoo, conditioner or styler when you add water.

Hair care is where salonsolids began and remains its foundation. Skin care followed in 2026, in jars made to refill, with more to come.
